To begin with, I want to reaffirm our core values: “The Last Child First guides our approach, “Equal Opportunities for All” fuels our efforts, “Gender Neutrality” is our mission, and “Values and Morality” are the foundation of Y&M Anjuman Khairul Islam since 1927.Our work is inspired by the divine teachings and the guidance of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Quran clearly makes a distinction between a learned and an ignorant person. It says, “Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” (Surah 39; Verse 9). This principle drives us to support and teach every student and community member. I am deeply concerned by the troubling reports of challenges faced by girls in schools and colleges. At AKI, we prioritize creating safe and nurturing environments in all our institutions. Our AKI Schools for Girls and AKI Girls College of Science, Commerce, and Arts in Thane are testaments to our commitment, providing both excellent education and secure surroundings for young women. We believe in the importance of modesty and respect for all individuals, and the Quran emphasizes education for everyone, free from discrimination. This belief underpins our commitment to gender equality and the pursuit of knowledge Additionally, we’ve diversified our offerings to include Skill Development courses, preparing young individuals, Boys and Girls, who need to support their families early in life. We equip them with essential skills to enhance their employability and secure better job placements. We are also excited about our NEET Super-30 residential project in Mahabaleshwar, which supports meritorious yet underprivileged students preparing for national exams. We provide them with the best of living facilities like Dormitory, Food and Health care. Educational atmosphere with better class rooms, Library and experienced professors. Opening of new degree colleges and preparations for exams like NEET, MHCET, and UPSC reflect our dedication to increasing higher education enrollment and supporting student success.
